I would love it if everyone would leave the election results here! I really want to see how things turn out and what everyone thinks about how things turned out here. _________________ Jeremy |

I will tell you that right now it looks like Arnold will pull the Gov. spot here, against Phill Angelidas. _________________ Jeremy |

Haven't heard yet if our current less corrupt than the last governor will be re-elected. It was pretty neck and neck.
Rob Blagoevich (not sure if I spelled that right, heck it's taken me 4 years to learn how to say it) Democrat would be the first Democrat to ever be re-elected in IL.
His competition, Judy Barr-Topenka just rubs my skin wrong even though I'm normally a Republican kind of gal.
Our last governor, George Ryan, was recently convicted on multiple corruption charges. _________________ ~Mags~ |

Arnold making it isn't official (atleast not to my knowledge) but earlier they said that angelidas was around 16% behind Arnold...we'll see what the official turnout is! _________________ Jeremy |

Barack Obama is one of your senators right? I am not much for a lot of Democrats, but I think he seems to be an alright guy! _________________ Jeremy |

Barack Obama, Yep. BeanieLogic and I were just discussing him on the phone today and wondering if he can make a serious run for pres in 2008.
It's about time we had something other than a white male president. But I'm wondering if he shouldn't wait til 2012. He's still such a freshman.
How often do men lose the nomination or lose the election and come back 4 years later? _________________ ~Mags~ |

Very often! It will be rough vote for president in 2008! I have heard rumors of course of Obama, Hillary, Guliani, and Mccain....Here are my thoughts: ANYONE BUT HILLARY! haha. All the other people have done some pretty great things in their last jobs (current jobs) and all of them have a great great resume in my opinion. I think however that Hillary does not know how to keep her mouth shut and we could end up in a lot of trouble for that! _________________ Jeremy |

Things are fixing to change in a lot of areas...we have the dems running the house, so that means it is going to be tug of war game between Republicans and Democrats...it is good because it gives us a checks and balance system and can stop bad things but in the same it can also stop good things. I am in the military and yes things in Iraq look rough, but let me promise you one thing: If we pull out now then in a matter of less than a year the terrorist WILL attack here! Terrorist are so unpredictable that this country will live on edge and let me tell you that staying over in Iraq and proving that we stick around until the job is done and those people over there are ready to fight for a couple more years is way better than running and saying to the terrorist "we're running now"...the Terrorist will be like ravid dogs and when a ravid dog sees someone running THEY FOLLOW! It's kinda scary..I hope and pray that Dems get a hold of themselves before they go crazy trying to change things...Like I said before though...I pray that everyone has been elected is led by God and that they make the right choices! _________________ Jeremy |

A big thing here was that they were trying to get it passed to build a new arena for the Sacramento Kings...the bad thing about it was that they wanted to raise taxes to do it???? Haha...I think the Kings will be fine playing at the Arco arena for now! It didn't pass of course! _________________ Jeremy |
