That is why you can't go by yourself. That way, one can leave, and the other saves the spot in line. The book store owners let us camp in the aisles of books, and they gave the parents coffee!!! It was a pretty fun time, actually.

I think the person forgot a decimal point. lol
No one died today that I know of standing in line. Someone was shot, and some were robbed. I was thinking some would be trampled to death today. Fortunately that didn't happened.
Playstations 3 going tor good money now on ebay. There are a lot of them.

Yeah and the number of them will continue to climb....supply and demand means that the demand has to out do the supply..If the buyers who bought them to resell on Ebay are smart they will sell em as quick as they can, because with PS3 releasing atleast 100,000 a week, they won't be in as much demand. I think they will drop in price. I would say inbetween now and Christmas they will be selling at $900 on Ebay and that is with shipping included in the price. _________________ Jeremy |

An auction for PS3 closed today at 89 million! Stupid auction wreckers. It was up to $99,999,999. which is probably the largest bid eBay will accept. In the last 3 minutes the seller was frantically trying to cancel all the fraud bids but it closed at 89 mil. Poor guy. Auction is now invalid. Near as I could tell the seller was legit.
I saw another seller that had 2 BIN for $10,000. Not selling. LOL
They have been mostly closing for around $2,500 with legit appearing bids. _________________ ~Mags~ |

The bidding for Sony Playstation 3 is ridiculous. So many bidders with 0 or 1 fb. Many have less than 10. I'm talking about the bidders raising the prices to $3,000 and more. Why should an legitimate bidder have to pay when those bidding against him are bidding as a joke? Most probably have no intention of paying and probably not paypal verified, but still allowed to bid. Some of them are out their buying them all for $5,000 or more each on BIN before being suspended. A lot of these bidders will be suspended over the next few weeks, but there bids still count.
Those wanting a ridiculous amount of money like this one student who wanted $16,000 kind of derserve what they get.
I just bothered by all the potential shell bidders and people bidding who have no intention of paying, just making someone else pay more. This is not right, and ebay probably going to make a lot of money from all this false bidding. The winner stands to lose.
You should see all the bidders that have been suspended for those penny auctions. One ebay seller was selling a 2 headed penny but you have to pick up in person. lol. That seller was getting positive feedback from buyers 1,000 plus miles away. What was the chance of them driving to pick up that 2 headed penny? lol Just used to increase feedback rating.

Believe it or not a lot of the 0 & 1 feedback people are vigilante bidders. They're ticked that people are making money off of these so they buy them to screw around with the seller. Happened a lot last year too. Plus you've got the Nigerian scammers having a ball trying to catch one victim. |

That's exactly what they're selling. Can't wait for the pictures of the PS3 to start selling. |

I don't understand this. Do you? | That buyer will not be happy when they finally figure out what they won....OOOOH I would be ticked.
We had people standing outside of our Wal-Mart Supercenter tonight waiting for the Nintendo Wii....I didn't realize that the Wii would be as limited as the PS3. _________________ Jeremy |

I have a Wii on "order" from Amazon. They gave me a time to "pick it up" - and then I only have 10 minutes to do so, or the next person in our virtual line gets it.
Pretty funny, in a way. |

That is insane...so there is like an invisible line? Haha...how many people are in line in front of and behind you? At the gamestop in town there is a huge display for the Wii system and for the PS3 there is only this small display that is set up beside the other console displays (psp, xbox360,etc.). _________________ Jeremy |

I have no idea how many people are in the invisible line, but as long as I get my order in during my specific time, I am guaranteed a system. If I couldn't get one on line, I wouldn't get one at all. I am just not dedicated enough. Not even for my kids.
I haven't been to a mall, and the time is fast approaching when I won't go to one! Too many crowds, and we already have cases of the flu in Philly. |

Look at this seller of 7 Playstations 3. Look at the questions and the seller's attitude. The price, shipping, and picture certainly makes it look like he is selling 7 at one time. The winner's id says it all, and well deserved to the seller. I hope in the end he doesn't make any money.

There are a number of people who have 4 or more of them for sale. I think I saw a business that had 11 or more for sale. I guess they don't have to sell them for $500 to $600. the competion is going to bring the prices down fast.
This reminds me of the beanie craze back in 1997 to 2000.
