Just so you know, it is an eBay requirement that if you are going to sell more than 1 that you show a picture with all your items in it and use that pic on every auction. eBay wanted to make sure someone wasn't taking a pic of the 1 they had and listing it 5 times.

Prices have dropped A LOT in just the one day. They are still around $1500 but many auctions closed with no bids. The ones asking $3,000-10,000 are SOL.

And they will only drop further in the weeks to come because Sony isn't going to sit by with all the product they have on hand and just let it sit...they know that interest will drop a lot after Christmas...they got their headlines with the launch, nor I think the future shipments will be bigger. They also apparently have fixed any gliches with the system with a patch that fixes the problem that you can download on your computer and transfer it to your PS3.

Sony says that they released 400000 units at the American launch of the system and plans to do atleast 100000 more a week up until Christmas.

You have to be kidding. It is a Christmas gift, and I have to do leaves today. It only came with a sports game, so now I have to go and get the Legend of Zelda. I have to get another controller as well. Boo.

When people are selling many playstation 3 units, it should not be the first picture. If they are selling 1, only one should be in the main picture and and all in another picture. The auction should be clear and not misleading.

I don't like it when sellers give misleading and false information in their ad like this one. To my knowledge, Sony will distribute another million units before the end of this year. They will never be worth $50,000 each.

Look at this.

Yeah for the fake bidders. Anything to delay these people from making outrageous money is good.

Ebay sure has it's hands full monitoring these playstation 3 auctions and a lot of bidders will become unrigestered in the coming weeks.

I wonder if anyone is being stupid to wire money Western Union to the seller?

You got to play the system and try it out to make sure it works and everything...not don't ya? Haha...my kids are going to hate me....they will be opening their Christmas presents and be likre "why is the package already opened"...haha...jk

I hope that there haven't been any wire transfers.

I think there are going to be a lot of people upset when they realize that the PS3s are going to be more available before Christmas than what they think..I know that I would not be happy if I had spend $2500 on something and then find out that if I had waited a couple weeks it would go down in price.

It looks like he's selling 7.... the wording in the discription is " you are looking at a brand new still in the box.......... he didn't say 7 he said "A". He also stated the shipping would be $50, but it has $135.40 in the shipping line.

Desception by "word play"

Anyway, ebay makes a lot of money just on the listing fees these people will have to pay.
