Do you guys remember last xmas when I had a foot op? Yea, I think i need another one soon.... I had it because I basically had a fallen arch at the front of my foot, and, ew, they broke 2 bones in my feet to make a proper arch... but I never fully recovered, and its been sore for ages...

But now my mum n i have noticed that a 3rd bone in my foot actually looks kinda dented, and it feels like i'm walking on a stone all the time. I saw the doc about 2 months ago when it was a lil bad, and he said to wear insoles incase it can be fixed with that.

The insole guy said it looked really bad, but now its horrible.... I'm seeing both docs in 2 weeks so i'll see what they say... but I don't think its good news. Ugh... but theres no way i'm having it 3 days before xmas again, I'll wait till january!! I can't remember xmas last year i was soooo drugged up!

Do you care if I pray for you? If you don't mind, I will pray for you to be healed and if surgery is needed that you have a quick and healthy recovery.

Thank you. I'm catholic, so that does mean a lot. Last op I had a few problems, and I lost feeling in my toes for a few months :s I just hope that it goes a lot easier this time!!

My husband calls me Frankenfoot because of all the foot surgery. It isn't very nice, but it is accurate. Unfortunately.

yep, my friend just called me darth vader lol. Ugh I'm just so scared... I know its silly... I've had this twice before... its just cos of the problems last time... you can only just see the bruising, but heres a pic of my heel (I had the op on my toes, thats how much it was bruised)



... but i can't even go on tip toe anymore, but i could 2 weeks ago... something seems to have gone really wrong... I don't want the op, but how can i go on like this... poo, I'm just having a really bad time atm, i feel like theres a black cloud i can't shake.

Well i've spoken to the doctor.. he said I needed a CT scan. He looked at my foot, and he said theres something wrong with the toe bone next to my big toe, but he wanted the CT scan to compare with my right foot so he can match them up in an operation, and also to check the nerves are ok, and there are no lumps in my foot making things worse etc. And I had that done yesterday. But they said the results could take over a week... so I doubt I could have an op till mid January. That sounds near, but with it getting worse every day that sounds forever away. I coul;dn't even straighten my leg properly walking in town yesterday cos the muscles were so sore :S ugh...

Awww, Lizzy, I hope this is the last surgery for ya, and it gets better from here.

At least it won't be over Christmas!

I have a friend who just had surgey yesterday, and she is regretting having it done so close to Christmas.

I hope your foot feels better. It is no fun to be in pain.

Lizzy I hope the surgery makes your foot right once and for all. Sorry you have to go through it again but at least it's not over Christmas.
