The canadian tush is what makes me suspicious. although through some research I have learned that some RARE 2nd gens have the canadian tush.

Almost all beanies can come with a Canadian tush. There are a few exceptions with the early ones. I'd have to dig out some old notes on which old beanies weren't distributed in Canada. The picture in this auction looks good to me.

So I guess someone else thought it might be a real Humphrey as well.
At least that person will have the worry about the authentication, I was stressing that is for sure.
