Since the goal of this site is to educate people about beanies this contest will keep with the spirit of that.

Right now there are 3 rare beanies that are mistagged. In other words, the swing tags don't match the generation that the beanie came in and/or the tush doesn't match the swing. One also has what appears to be a resewn tush.

What you need to do is find the 3 beanies on eBay. First person to do so has their choice of the following :

1. 3 Ty Retailer Catalogs
2. Authenticated Blue America w/ Japanese swing tag
3. A Japanese promo beanie of my choice.

Mags will be helping with the clues. The first clue is :

All 3 are considered hard to find beanies either by tag generation or the beanie itself. In other words, They may be rare or hard to find even without a swing tag.

All Gold Nip never came with a 2nd gen swing tag. Only 3rd. This is the one where the tush appears to have been resewn.

I found a Auction that says Steg but its a Rex beanie...they don't show the inside of the hang tag. 250196510560.

This Caw doesn't have a Hang tag. The tush is a 3rd gen..all of my 3 gen hang tag have a 1st or 2nd gen tush.

Now it's Rhona 1 & Paul 1. We've been trying to get Marie to fix the Patti's for a long time now. Even Becky wrote her.

Raspberry Patti can't come with a 3rd gen swing tag, only 1st or 2nd. This is definitely a retagged Raspberry. You can tell by the shape of the bill. Same seller has a fake NF Violet & a fake Orange Digger.

Make sure you are buying things that match up. It's another problem area with resellers.

The 3rd one will be tricky because it can be both rare and common. Just depends

No... I mailed Paul's horse...finished scrapbooks 3 & 4 and worked 10 hours.. If I'd gotten on and searched I never would have gotten the rest done....
