Hang on, I'm confused and out of date.... are these BB2.0 REPLACING normal beanies as we know them? So no more of the ones we've been collecting for decades now? Oh gosh.... saves money I guess Sad

I remember the "End" around the millennium and saying it'd never happen, but this could be it? IF you think about it, since the "end", ty has released what seems like hundreds per month, and have now prob squeezed all new ideas out.

Oh well......

I intrepreted the message to mean no more small squishy rodents.. Crying or Very sad

bats, fish, spiders, cats or puppies... how will the new releases look? Will they look more like the derby horses or those long legged critters (I forgot what they're called)...We won't know until January.
In the last 3 months I have only bought exclusives....now it's probably going to be the 1st gen (Tush Tag) beanies I've lusted after in the past.

It has been interesting watching the fall out from this one. TY is not allowing posts that talk about it, but I have some questions.

Will my TYFOLIO go into cyberspace?
Will all beanies manufactured after 1-1 have the new tags?

So, I guess that I will have to watch, wait, and then wait some more.

From what I understand the licensed beanies will still have regular tags. I think we'll still see a lot of those.

I think Ty is behind the cyber game by a year. If these would have been released last year instead of the Girlz they would have out sold the Webkinz. Now you have Webkinz, Shooting Stars, Neo-Pets, etc.

With the 2.0 beanies being larger I don't know what I'm going to do. I guess I'll branch out even further.

For what it's worth Ty UK have told us that Harrod's will be having exclusive Beanies again next year. Whether this will be in their present format or in a different one, i don't know.

TY store is shipping at the speed of light. VERY unusual for them. My guess is that there will be no more TY store tags like the old ones after the 1st of the year.

Interesting. There is definitely something huge in the works.
