I have had a few enquiries regarding the Swiper beanie.

In order to receive one I would have to take out a subscription to the Dora magazine. According to the bumph you get with the magazine I would receive one free gift with each of the following numbers of magazines. In this case, to guarantee the receipt of a Swiper I would need to subscribe for the next 6 issues (they are sent in increments of 2). This would cost a total of £18. For this I would receive 3 beanie babies (I would start the subscription from Issue 1 to get Dora), and all the other crap that comes with it.

I am going to take out a subscription for myself - and if anyone else wants me to take out an extra one for them - they have to let me know by Monday.

Paul.

Hi Paul
Thanks for the info. You are going to have to be my eyes, ears, and photographer for this one! I sure hope that Ty releases it by itself. It's one thing to do the subscription, but from past experience with the Ty magazine, mailing is double the cost of the magazines between UK and USA!

I hope you do an article of it on BeanieUK, so we can see what's going on with it: what you get with each magazine, etc. I'd love a photo of Swiper when that shows up. It needs to be a white background.

Karen,

Didn't make myself at all clear.

I never intended for the subscription to be sent States-way. Was going to get them all sent to me (free postage) and then was going to forward the relevant pieces to the States.

Hi Paul
I understood that, that the subscriptions would go to you, but I meant the cost from you to the USA would be high. Or were you not thinking of sending the magazines to USA too, just the extras?

Karen,

Was thinking just the extras. Would save them 'til the Swiper arrived, would then cancel the subscription and send all the extras in one go to USA.

Because we don't know in which Issue the Swiper will come, but we do know that it comes with one of the first 5 Issues. Also we know the issues come out every fortnight; this means that it may take 2 weeks to get Swiper or it may take up to 10 weeks.
