There were 10 counterfeit auctions posted in January, 4 were pulled. 3 were seller ended, and 3 sold.

January had 3 Humphreys and 2 Quacker (Wingless), the balance were onesies.

February had 31 counterfeit auctions, 6 were pulled, 9 were seller ended, 14 sold, and 2 went unsold.

February had 4 NF Jades, 2 Orange Diggers, 2 RBPs and 2 Pekings, then all the rest were onesies.

There were 45 counterfeit auctions in Feb '07, and 17 in Jan '07.

Laughing what are conterfit auctions?

i, bought a cubby off of e-bay, it said mint condition, when i, got it , it had no tag. is this proper?

should people only auction thier beanies after they are authenticated?
i, have over 200. that would cost quiet a chunk of change.

Mint condition could apply to either the beanie or the tag. If the cubby you received was mint, than it was proper, unless specifically stipulated that you were to get a mint tag as well, then it was not.

Not all beanies absolutely need to be authenticated. It is known that beanies produced with certain generations of tags during certain periods of time were counterfeited extensively. Unfortunately, this corelates to some of the HTF and limited beanies. My advice is this - if you have a beanie that could be valuable, have it authenticated. You will recoup the money spent authenticating as the beanie will command a higher price at auction. If it is a dime-a-dozen common, then do not.
