does anyone know if there is a tag proctector available for the new Beanie Baby 2.0 series.

I don't believe that one has been produced (yet), but people have devised a number of ways of getting around the problem. Beanwather had one (fairly detailed) method detailed a while back, and cindy's beans has the open heart protectors.
