This Peanut has a 1993 copyright date on the tush. Authentic Peanut is copyrighted 1995. _________________ ~Mags~ |

...or not, but he has claimed that his camera is not working so he could not send me pictures of the tush to my e-mail account (even though there are perfect pictures of the beanie up on eBay). He did admit to it being a 1993 tush. Buyer beware! Also beware of those who seem to get a little *too* defensive over simply questioning the authenticity of their beanies. |

...hard to say, though... they claim it's authenticated. I don't have the link right offhand but there are only a couple of RBP's for sale. |

It's relisted. Guy just won't believe that 1993 = fake. An authentic Royal Blue Peanut only comes with a black & white 1st gen 1995 tush. There are a few versions with fake 1995 tush tags too.

Space cadet. The guy's a space cadet. He won't listen. I asked him to tell me the date on the tag, or send me a picture, and he gave me the same cock-and-bull story. |

|

...is that, years ago, he may have paid a great deal of money for this counterfeit. I think this guy is in complete denial. I had purchased fakes several years ago (I was younger, ignorant, and naive) but upon receiving them I destroyed them promptly... lesson learned. I cannot understand those unwilling to receive the truth and do the same. It is very disheartening. Has anyone reported this listing? As I said, if a person believes his Beanie to be authentic then why NOT authenticate as the value appreciates dramatically? |
