Sold to a re-seller so no sympathy from me if they don't protect themselves. My sympathies lie with the collectors who get scammed.

She is mad as H*** and has relisted after winner asked for refund. So I sent her this note. Dear mama_2punkinz,

Hello, the problem is the way you are listing this item. With no actual pics of your own, people do not believe you actually have the item. The photo you are using which incidentally is traceable via its URL is from a site called Smart Collecting .com .If you actually have the item then I would suggest taking your own pictures of it,putting a piece of tape or something over the COA # and inserting it into your auction. You see spending 7,8 or $900.00 on a beanie baby is quite a bit of money and collectors would like to see what exactly they are paying for. There are way,way too many rip offs and scam artists on Ebay ,especially when dealing with a product that has a long history of being counterfeited.Let the collectors see what they are paying for ,you may find in the end you may actually be rewarded for it by getting a better price.Particularly if this piece is as good as you say.
Regards

Too bad for her. IF she would have shown actual pics and the COA she probably would have sold for twice the price the first time.

Second auction is cancelled. She mentioned sending out a second chance offer to the under bidder. Maybe that's what she did.

IF it's perfect and authenticated someone got a bargain.

Either that or by revealing knowledge of where the pic was from let her know someone was on to her deception.

I told her a couple of days ago that I knew her pic was from smart collecting. She said she would maybe have posted her own pics but her camera was broken.

I hope the Disney pin buyers figure out her tactics soon too. No real pics on those either.
