The hang tag doesn't match the tush tag generation. Any thoughts on this?

This seller has a lot of old beanies but what he says is near mint condition (eg. Humphrey) is not near mint to me. Any thoughts on this?

I asked Mags about this one a few days ago and also reported the listing to eBay. That's a 5th gen. tush, right? I'm definitely not as good with the tags as most of you but some of the Beanies themselves also look a bit "off" to me. Peking's nose looks a bit long, but it could just be the angle.

OT: Do the 3rd gen. swing tags (on the inner left piece) ever have the copyright symbol on all three places of manufacturing or are they only on the Oakbrook location all the way across the board? Couldn't find any info about it on the internet, though I've tried, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Retagged Goldie.

Yes, there are 3rd gen tags that have just the one copyright symbol. There is a basic swing tag chart over on aboutbeanies.com. They cover most of the tag variations but not all. There are a few mistakes over there that we've found over the years but for the most part it's accurate.

3rd Gen swing tags are among the most counterfeited tags. Basically, anything produced prior to 2000 has been faked. We've seen some counterfeit beanies that you would say why bother on since they're common. I've got a few counterfeit Claudes that are hysterical.
