I Yahoo'd Alaines name and had darrell print out all the relevent hits...there were a lot of doubles. I put them in a nice 3 ring binder and gave it to Mom when we went up for the holidays... You should have seen Alaine's face when I told her this was only 17 of over 100 hits about her. Her eyes got big and she snatched the binder right out of Mom's hands and started going thru it. I lost track of the OMG's coming from her corner of the room. |

This morning I was in the break/lunch room making coffee. when I rinsed out the pot...water came spewing out of the hand held sprayer soaking my chest and belly... someone had used tie wraps to hold the trigger.... Got to give um credit for thinking this up....but, they must have forgotten about the camera in there...
I asked the plant manager to check the CD and see who did it....paybacks are hell...
Here are some of my payback ideas....hide lunch box, hide car keys, tell them everyday..."today could be the day" and not do anything, keep em looking over their shoulder.
This is going to be fun... |

I vote for pudding. Did they jimmy-rig the faucet because they thought they were fixing it, or as a practical joke? |

So, how come someone is allowed to make water spray all over another employee, and you put up a sign and get in trouble?????
Remember that you have to touch whatever you throw at someone else's car.....so I still vote for pudding. |

No one knew I did the sign...a general notice went out saying that it wasn't appreciated..
I have to experiment with the icky substance... I want it to cling to the inside of the door handle, where they can't see it until they stick there hand in it. SURPRISE
They are telling me that camera is a little broke and doesn't catch everything...bad harness they think...they're looking. |

HONEY!!!!!
Very gooey, hard to clean, but it doesn't harm paint!
But you gotta figure out whose car to do first! |

How about a little poop under the hood and in the tail pipe? Let it fester a few hours and it would stink up the inside of their car for days. It would take a while to figure out where it was coming from too.
I like the honey on the door handle too LOL! |

I talked to the Plant manager today... The camera isn't pointed at the sink. We had a lenghy discussion which included a "what if it had been the director of R&D or Purchacing instead of me" (for an instant he looked like he was going to be sick) the consequences of dealing with me will be far less tramatizing.....So, between the meeting that ended at 6:30 and my dousing at 6:45 that narrows it down quite a bit...he's going to review the DVD again and have his assistant (a beautiful dark haired young lady with a bod to die for) discreetly question the suspects. He assured me he will find the jokester one way or another.
Update on payback ideas:
Something nasty, that sticks, that won't drip/leak from the door handle. (I like honey but wouldn't it drip?) test run needed...
Hide lunch pail in freezer.
Dog or cat poop in tail pipe (Thanks Beanielogic)
Take car keys and place them under car...dead center.
Hide coat when it's 2 degrees out.
This is going to be fun...... |

I like the "hide coat" idea......
Along those same lines, you could make a lot of what they have disappear. One thing at a time....and always have them turn up in the lunchroom, somewhere by the sink... |

OH! OH!!!! I know, place a sign under the item that says "these belong to (name)".
The car key thing won't be as good if they drive a truck or SUV...you don't have to belly skootch under those to reach the center. |

Don't take personal items, just things they need to use during their week day. How many people put work things in Lost & Found?
Stapler, Pen, Tape, Marker, Chair??, unhook the keyboard on the computer they are using.
Write times on stickey notes and leave them on their desks, so they think they have appointments but can't remember who with. If they have a desk calendar, write names next to time slots....or cyptic notes like house? Job interview?
In other words, make them think they are going nuts....one teensy step at a time. |
